Stage Invasion is a project aimed at providing opportunities for young people to gain real-world experiences within the live music industry.

Stage Invasion live music experiences for young people

Stage Invasion is open to schools and young people 14-19, and runs over a full academic year, each year.

We work with young songwriters / music artists who enter Stage Invasion each year, to develop original music that they have created so they are able to perform this live, at a high-standard. We then offer the opportunity to play at a professionally-produced live event, held at a music venue, where the audience votes and the winner gets to record their music in the pro studio at Higher Rhythm.

For 2021 only (in light of COVID-19 restrictions) we are inviting young songwriters / music artists to submit demos of their original music. This can be composed / recorded at home and even in the most basic way.

Our expert team will then work with the artists to develop their music, before it is ultimately featured in a special live Stage Invasion Radio Show, on our radio station Sine FM in Summer 2021.

Over 400 people turned up to watch 10 young music artists who entered Stage Invasion 2019, play live at the Stage Invasion finale event, at the Dome, in Doncaster in July 2019.
